FAQ

Common Questions

Express air freight from China to Pakistan takes 3–4 days door-to-door. This includes pickup from your supplier in any Chinese city, export clearance at the Chinese airport, transit, and customs clearance and delivery in Pakistan. Economy air freight (on general cargo services) takes 5–7 days. The key variables are: origin airport in China (Shanghai PVG, Guangzhou CAN, Beijing PEK or Shenzhen SZX), airline routing via connecting hubs, and the Pakistan destination airport (Karachi KHI or Islamabad ISB). We provide exact transit times at the time of booking.
Express air freight uses priority space on the fastest available routing — often direct or single-connection flights — with same-day or next-day airport handling and guaranteed departure on a named flight. Best for time-critical parts, samples, e-commerce orders and urgent pharmaceutical resupply. Economy air freight uses cost-optimised routings which may involve connections, standard terminal handling, and 1–2 day flexibility in departure. Typically 40–60% cheaper than express. We quote both options so you can choose based on urgency and budget.
Yes — we are specialist handlers for pharmaceutical air freight to Pakistan. We use IATA CEIV Pharma-compliant procedures: validated temperature-controlled unit load devices (ULDs) maintaining 2°C–8°C for controlled temperature products, active container solutions for deep freeze (−20°C) cargo, continuous temperature data loggers, and a strict chain-of-custody documentation process. We manage DRAP import licences, batch release documentation, and in-house clearance at Karachi airport's designated pharma clearance zone.
Air freight accepts cargo of virtually any weight or dimension — there is no upper weight limit for chartered or freighter flights, though commercial belly cargo has practical limits per piece (usually 150–250 kg and 300 cm per piece depending on the airline and aircraft type). Chargeable weight is calculated as the greater of actual weight (kg) or volumetric weight (L×W×H cm ÷ 6,000). We advise on the optimal routing and aircraft for your specific piece dimensions and weights — particularly for oversized industrial shipments.
Three airports serve commercial international air cargo in Pakistan: Karachi Jinnah International Airport (KHI) — the primary cargo hub with the highest freighter frequency and bonded cargo terminal facilities. New Islamabad International Airport (ISB) — serves the Capital region and KPK corridor with regular cargo services. Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore (LHE) — serves Punjab with scheduled cargo on regional carriers. We have in-house clearance agents at all three airports, with dedicated ops teams for each location.
Yes, with proper IATA DGR (Dangerous Goods Regulations) compliance. We handle all IATA dangerous goods classes: flammables (Class 3), lithium batteries (UN 3480 / UN 3481), corrosives (Class 8), toxic substances (Class 6), oxidisers (Class 5), compressed gases (Class 2) and others with appropriate airline acceptance. Lithium batteries in devices (UN 3481) are accepted on passenger aircraft with quantity limits; standalone lithium batteries (UN 3480) are typically restricted to freighter aircraft. We prepare all DG declarations, shippers' declarations, and coordinate with airlines for acceptance.
